Volunteers

The Health Foundation depends greatly on an ever-growing group of dedicated volunteers to make possible the events and programs that provide funding for enhanced health care in the region.

Without them, the tasks that face us could never be accomplished, and the money raised would not meet the needs that exist.

The Gift Shoppe at the Regional Health Centre in Yorkton is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and is staffed entirely by volunteers, which allows the revenue from the shop to be applied to the equipment and program needs of the health region.

The Foundation is looking for volunteers who are willing to work a three- or four-hour shift at least once a week during the times the shop is open. Anyone interested in volunteering is invited to contact The Health Foundation's executive director, Ross Fisher at 786-0507.

The Health Foundation salutes and thanks the many dedicated community volunteers who support our efforts.
